Am I sunk if I lost my ring inspection paperwork?
In a recent move, I lost track of the inspection paperwork/receipt/EVERYTHING for my wedding ring from Zale's. I want to go in and ask at the store, but I'm scared of being laughed out of the store. I am sure that my name and even my ring info is in their COMPUTER, but pretty sure that won't be enough?? I have a lifetime guarantee on the ring if I get it inspected every May and November. I have scoured the house, and no paperwork.
Anyone have experience with this?? Anything I can do?

Call the store and see what their policy is. They spend much money on advertising
and would not want to create ill will. They probably can help.
If the local store is not helpful, write a letter to the chairman
of the company. Not likely he will ignore you,
