Claiming Firearms on 2009 Taxes?

Hey guys - Just like most people, I got the chain e-mail that said a bill passed that would make us have to claim our firearms on 2009 taxes.

I have read on some websites that say it is not true and was from an old bill, but recently heard from two people in the financial industry (one being an accountant) that said we will have to pay a $50 tax on all firearms?

True or false?

if you look at the approved 1040, there is no line for firearms
it is true there was some talk about it but they got too engrossed in health care to do anything with it
