How do I get PayPal and how does it work?
How does it work??? I don't like paying for things over the internet because I don't like putting my crdit card details online (and I know it is like 99.5% safe).
Can I go to a store and hand over cach to get a PayPal thing???

PayPal can be used to send and receive payments through the internet.Once you sign up for a PayPal account, you can send and receive money online. All you need is a valid email address and a valid bank account or credit card in order to create an account. You can also purchase and use the paypal top off card or a prepaid credit/debit card to fund the account. If you use a prepaid card, make sure and go to the cards webiste and register your name and shipping address before you enter the card into paypal.

Paypal is very safe and secure, the people whom you send money to, never see your card or bank information. I have used Paypal for over 10 years, no problems.

Paypal is much like Western Union or MoneyGram in that it will transfer payments between people. The advantages over money transfer companies is that it charges a whole lot less in fees and that it offers some protection in case the seller does not send the item. The advantage over credit/debit cards is that the receiver never sees your card number. Yes, you can buy a PayPal prepaid debit card at many stores (for an additional fee) but you still need to prove to PayPal who you are and where you live. The easiest, safest and cheapest way to do this is to give them your credit card number registered to your name and address.

PayPal is great.

Just go to their website: PayPal.com and sign up. You can choose to move money from your bank account or your credit card to your PayPal account.

The biggest benefit to PayPal is that it lets you pay other people online for small transactions where a credit card system is available. For example:

Someone on Craigslist is selling you something and you don' want to mail cash or use Western Union. Or you owe your friend $25 but he lives across the country.

Its also safe and secure.

Good luck. Happy Holidays :)
