How to get a job in blasting?

I am an 18 year old senior in high school. With gradguation coming up and everything I only recently just got a career idea. I have a very large interest in explosives and I was wondering how I would go about getting a career in blasting. What kind of blasting jobs are there and what kind of training do I need to be hired. I tried researching but couldn't find much. If some one could shed some light for me it would be greatly appreciated!

Contact your local demolition contractor and tell them you would like to apply for an entry level job. The best way would almost certainly be to go into the military.
