Being a "body model", whatever that is, doesn't help.
Going into a course assuming you know everything is not going to help you learn.

People like personal trainers they can relate to and who help motivate them towards their goals. You have to be someone who understands what people want. Plenty of people don't want to be "ripped" fast. Losing weight gradually is the only way to do it - not to mention that a lot of your clients would have injuries or issues relating to motor skills that you can't just overcome in a few sessions. A lot of people do PT so that they become fit too. The Biggest Loser isn't a great example of what a PT really is like. Maybe try a session or do some job shadowing before you start your course to see whether it is really for you.

I have a friend who is a PT and she said that you can get work in gyms, but you have to pay them to work there. If you have your own equipment and visit people in their homes you would probably make more money.

not really a job - more of a business - YOU have to go find people willing to pay you to train them - even working at a big gym - you might get paid min wage plus commission for actual business if you are lucky
