Preparation for surgeon career?
I've recently taken an interest in the surgeon career. I have two years of high school left still but I'm thinking it might be something I want to get into. I know there are many different types of surgery and sub-categories but I was wondering if you can give me any rescources like books or websites that are simply put so I might get the gist of the career and more information about the career path.
Thank you.

You have a long way to go before you have to make that decision--so just concentrate on one step at a time....finish HS with alot of science classes, get your bachelors with a pre-med emphasis, get into med school and then during your clinical rotations things will begin to sort out. You don't even begin to study surgery until residency and then there are fellowships after that. Once you see & do this first hand in med school, you might fall in love with a totally different specialty.
