Can you file for earned income credit if you dont have a kid?
the question on the site im filing my taxes is "You may qualify for the Earned Income Credit if you:
Earned less than $13,440 and didn't have a qualifying child
Earned less than $35,463 and had one qualifying child
Earned less than $40,295 and had two qualifying children
Earned less than $43,279 and had three or more qualifying children"
i have no kids so would i qualify for the first?

If your income is that low, you are at least 25 years old and are under age 65.
