How do i get a social security verification form?
My last employers system went down and wiped out tons of information. They need my SSN to report so i can get my unemployment benefits. They told me I could get the form from the office but the office was telling me they(employer) had to request it. Is this true or is there a way around it so that I can deliver the form myself?

You need clarify what you are asking. Who is THEY? And exactly what "form" are they asking for?
If you need to prove you worked somewhere give Unemployment a copy of your final pay stub. Records don't just disappear. Your employer is required to electronically issue these quarterly to Unemployment. At most, one quarter might temporarily be unavailable....
