How to become a lawyer?
I am writing a apeech on how to become a lawyer. I already have the basic steps, and I am looking for anyone who has become a lawyer to give me their input on how they did it. I'm going to ask that you leave your first name and last initial, so that I may cite you as a resource on my speech. Any Tips? What did you find the most challenging? Anything that should really be paid attention to? All help is appreciated!

You have to earn a bachelors degree in any major. I majored in political science, which is fairly typical for law school bound students. You then have to get accepted to a law school. Admissions are mainly based on college GPA and LSAT score. Then you go to law school for 3 years and earn your JD. Then you have to take and pass the bar exam in the state you wish to practice in.
There isn't really another way to do it; the only option in the US is basically bachelors, JD, bar exam.
